Welcome to Zephyr and Zawn! We're thrilled to share our journey with you and introduce you to our passion project born from the magic of the Isles of Scilly. As a husband-and-wife duo from South Africa, we came to these islands looking for peace and bit of adventure and ended up staying (Can you blame us? What a special place!)<\/p>
Our clothing line is all about capturing the island's unique charm and translating it into eco-friendly fashion. Every piece in our collection is crafted from 100% organic cotton, blending comfort with a commitment to sustainability. When you wear our T-shirts, you\u2019re not just enjoying a stylish garment; you\u2019re supporting a brand that cares deeply about the planet.<\/p>
We use a print-on-demand model, which is as eco-friendly as it gets. By printing only what\u2019s needed, we reduce waste and minimise our environmental impact. This also means we don't have a physical shop on the island, but that's actually a good thing\u2014it allows us to focus on being as sustainable as possible.<\/p>
Here's a little peek behind the curtain: Zephyr and Zawn is our part-time passion project. We balance our full-time jobs on St Martins with our creative side hustle\u2014imagine a hobby with more T-shirts and fewer knitting needles. Even though my formal graphic design background is a bit limited, my lifelong love for drawing adds a personal touch to each design. And while my husband might jokingly say it's \"my\" business, his behind-the-scenes support and occasional \u201cnot-so-subtle\u201d suggestions are the secret ingredients that make our designs truly special.<\/p>
